Natural Results

LVL Enhance

LVL Enhance is a natural lash lift that adds LengthVolume and Lift to your natural eyelashes. It is an ideal treatment if you are seeking enhanced lashes with a more natural look.

For the best results, please remove all mascara and eye makeup before your appointment and allow 1 hour 15 mins for your first appointment as this will include an initial consultation. A patch test is required at least 48 hours before your first treatment.

LVL straightens your natural lashes at the root, creating the appearance of longer, thicker lashes. The lashes are also tinted during the treatment to create a mascara-style effect. Have perfect lashes from the moment you wake up that last from 6-8 weeks.

Long-Lasting Extensions

Volume Lashes

Volume lashes are a relatively new technique that adds both length and fullness to natural lashes. They were designed to fill in the gaps where classic eyelash extensions could not.

Multiple extensions are applied to one individual eyelash. Each extension is extremely light in weight and creates a fluffy, soft appearance that is not heavy or damaging to the natural eyelash.

With volume lashes, you have the option of how much or how little volume you would like added to your natural lashes. The number of lashes added will depend on your desired look.

We offer a variety of styles, ranging from natural-looking volume to a fuller, more glamorous look. Due to the technique used when applying the lashes, volume lashes can last a lot longer than normal, individual lashes.

Infills are not required as often as with individual lash extensions, as gaps/lash loss is often far less apparent. It does not damage your natural lashes.

Treatment can take 1 - 3 hours (depending on the look desired). If you are prone to allergies, a sensitivity patch test may be required before your first treatment. For the best results, please remove all mascara and eye makeup 24 hours before your appointment.

Speed, Volume, Style

SVS

SVS (Speed, Volume, Style) is a brand new revolutionary Lash Extension Treatment created exclusively by Nouveau Lashes that combines the best aspects of individual, express and volume lashes.

This style of lash extensions is a lighter, more natural version of Volume Lashes. Unlike classic lash extensions (where one lash extension is applied to each individual lash), a volume fan (created using a minimum of 3 lash extensions) is applied to the natural lash to create a soft, fluffy, fuller look.

Instead of returning every 2-3 weeks for in-fills, SVS offers the ability to return only after 6-8 weeks to repeat the treatment if desired and It does not damage your natural lashes.

The fluffy texture, unique appearance and natural variation mean that any loss is often far less apparent. Treatment can take 1 - 2 hours.

Individual Lash Extensions

Individual lash extensions are applied, one at a time, onto your own eyelashes without overloading your natural lashes or causing damage.

Treatment can take from 90mins - 2hrs  to create anything from a subtle enhancement to an 'all-out glamour' look. Results can last up to 8 weeks.

To keep your lashes looking their best, maintenance checks are required every 2-3 weeks. A sensitivity patch test may also be required.

NOTE: Lash Extensions need to be removed professionally to ensure your lashes aren't damaged in the process. You should never attempt to take off Extend lashes yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

F.A.Q's

Haven’t you heard? Semi-permanent eyelash extensions are a year-round ‘must have’ for the fashion conscious! Lash extensions draw more attention to your eyes than mascara alone, and 24/7, so you’ll look fab when you wake up, after your workout, in the office, on the beach…

One lash at a time, we’ll frame your eyes with a long, thick, luxurious set. Single strands of high quality synthetic lashes are applied onto your natural lashes to enhance and extend. Our lash artists create a bespoke look, using a variety of extensions to build the right volume, length and curl for your unique style

Lash extensions are individual synthetic strands, curled like natural lashes – but better! Cluster lashes are made up of 3-4 strands fanning out from a “bulb” glued on to your natural lashes.

So, cluster lashes are more difficult to blend in with your natural lash line… and they’re usually lower quality, too. You’ll likely find cheaper rates for cluster lashes – and if you see them applied, you’ll know why!

With proper care, your extensions will last 4-6 weeks. You should expect to shed most of them throughout the growth cycle of your natural lashes. We recommend coming by for infills when your extensions begin to look sparse.

Be warned, lash extensions are incredibly delicate – so give them the TLC they deserve! Exposure to steam or extremely hot water, and touching, picking, or rubbing your lashes can weaken the adhesive bond on your extensions.

Infills are like touch-ups for your extensions. Performed regularly, they’ll keep your lashes looking full and luscious. You may need them more or less often depending on how well you look after your extensions, your natural lash cycle, and the style of your initial set.

Typically, clients get infills every 2-3 weeks, however some clients prefer to replace their full set every 6-8 weeks (which we would highly recommend).

No! When properly applied, lash extensions should NEVER hurt! Extensions are applied to your natural lashes, not touching the skin, so you shouldn’t feel a thing. With your eyes closed, you may even find the treatment so relaxing that you fall asleep! Well, you wouldn’t be the first…

To the untrained eye, no one will know you’re cheating on your natural lashes. And your secret is safe with us! Gone are the days of mascara clumps… Your lashes will be clean, separated, perfect!

You should not feel any pain or discomfort in or around your eyes after the procedure. We’ve seen clients after previous dangerous or poorly applied lash applications performed elsewhere, and they have experienced clumping, pain, discomfort, or damage to their own natural lashes – this is not normal!

We’re perfectionists here at High Brow Beauty. You can expect us to be meticulous, concentrated and precise. From design through application, the process will last approximately 60-90 minutes.

Most clients are good candidates for lash extensions, no matter what their concerns. Hannah will help you create may vary depending on your natural lashes. If you’re really concerned, consider a free consultation with one of our technicians to discuss a design that best suits your lashes.

In the majority of cases, most clients’ lashes are good candidates for lash extensions. However, there may be limitations to the type of look achievable if your natural lashes are particularly sparse, fine or curly. For example, a healthy strong straight host lash is needed in order to attach the extension properly and lashes that have severe bends may not be viable for extensions.

You poor thing! Call us immediately so we can remove your old extensions! We’ve rectified work by other salons many times, often when a client is in immense pain or discomfort from improper application. We will happily remove your old lash extensions, and if you wish, apply a new set.

Most clients don’t find it necessary to wear mascara with eyelash extensions. However, if you must wear mascara, we advise using a water-based formula. DO NOT USE OIL-BASED OR WATERPROOF MASCARA!! (Oil-based eye makeup and makeup remover should also be avoided.)

Oil based products can dissolve the bonding agent used on your extensions, causing the lashes fall out sooner.

Quite simply, no. Applying lash extensions to the bottom lashes would require clients to keep their eyes open. For safety reasons, we do not condone this practice.

Yes, please! Make sure your eyelashes are squeaky clean – no traces of eye makeup – prior to your appointment. Use an oil-free make up remover if possible, and rinse well.

Any traces of oil or makeup (especially mascara!) will create a barrier between the adhesive and your natural lashes, causing your extensions to drop off prematurely.

Many salons claim to offer eyelash extensions, but in fact provide “professional application” of shop-bought cluster or strip lashes. These salons charge lower prices for a 5-10 minute application of a substandard product.

The lifespan of your extensions will depend on wear and tear, lifestyle, natural lashes, skin type, etc. All of these factors will affect how quickly you shed your natural lashes and the extensions.

Longevity also depends on the glue used to apply your lashes. The stronger the glue, the stronger the bond, and the longer your extensions will last. The downside to strong glues is an increased chance of adverse reactions. The stronger glues have vapours that may cause severe tearing, itching, stinging, swelling of the eyes, and allergic reactions. As such, we do not use these glues, and do not recommend extensions applied this way!

To keep your lashes looking gorgeous as long as possible, we recommend you follow your therapist’s aftercare advice. The key points:

  1. Avoid contact with water or steam for 24-48 hours after your appointment to allow the glue to cure. The longer you wait, the better! If you must shower, clean around your eyes and avoid getting water onto your lashes.
  2. Avoid exposing your lashes to prolonged heat, as this can weaken the bond and cause your extensions to fall off. No steam rooms, saunas or Bikram yoga!
  3. Only run a lash wand or brush through your extensions gently. If they are getting a little unruly, you may also separate and tidy your lashes using a toothpick, ideally after a shower.
  4. Avoid using oil-based products around your eyes.
